Milan Office Managing Partner Again Ranked Among 50 Best Italian Lawyers

The Italian legal publication LegalCommunity has named Milan corporate partner Stefano Sciolla among the 50 Best Italian Lawyers for the fifth time. The publication’s annual 50 Best Italian Lawyers List recognizes lawyers who have made their mark on the legal profession, having demonstrated exceptional technical know-how and, above all, great management skills and a strong prospective vision of the future.

Legalcommunity described Sciolla, recently named Latham’s Milan Office Managing Partner, as a “revolutionist by nature” who draws upon Daft Punk’s "harder, better, faster, stronger" when discussing his goals for the firm in Italy. Sciolla also won praise for advising on a number of high-profile transactions over the past year, including counselling The Carlyle Group and Irca on the acquisition of In2Food; Gamenet Group and Apollo on the acquisition of Lottomatica Scommesse and Videolot Rete; Pai Partners on the acquisition of Pasubio; and Fondo Italiano di Investimento SGR, through Fondo Italiano Consolidamento e Crescita- FICC, on the acquisition of Mecaer Group.
