Latham & Watkins is pleased to announce that Mandy Wong and Daying Zhang have joined the firm in Hong Kong as counsel in the Capital Markets Practice. Their practices focus on debt and equity capital markets transactions advising issuers and underwriters on a wide range of corporate and securities law matters.
Wong’s practice covers a broad spectrum of general commercial and corporate finance transactions, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers, and listing rules compliance matters. Wong has particular experience advising PRC and international corporations on their listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and financial institutions on their capital markets transactions across Asia.
Zhang’s practice focuses on corporate finance and securities transactions, including US initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and registered debt offerings, Rule 144A/Regulation S equity and debt offerings, and initial public offerings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. She has worked extensively in both China and the US, advising issuers and underwriters, particularly in the TMT, financial services, and energy sectors. She also advises clients on corporate governance and regulatory matters, including public company compliance, internal investigations, and FCPA compliance programs.

Wong joins Latham & Watkins from the Hong Kong office of another global law firm, where she was a counsel. She previously served as an executive director in the Legal and Compliance Department of UBS AG, where she managed legal compliance and regulatory issues in Asia.
Zhang joins Latham & Watkins from another global law firm, where she was a corporate associate in the Hong Kong and Shanghai offices.
