Latham & Watkins Advises Underwriters in Compass’ IPO

Multidisciplinary team represented the underwriters in the offering by the real estate technology company.

Compass, Inc., a real estate technology company, has announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 25 million shares of its Class A common stock at a public offering price of US$18 per share. The shares began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on April 1, 2021 under the ticker symbol "COMP." The offering is expected to close on April 6, 2021, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. In addition, the underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 3,750,000 shares of Class A common stock from Compass at the initial public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.
