SOC Telemed, Inc. (NASDAQ: TLMD), the largest national provider of acute care telemedicine, has announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Patient Square Capital, the leading health care investment firm.

Patient Square Capital is a dedicated health care investment firm purpose-built to partner with best-in-class management teams whose products, services, and technologies improve health.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents Patient Square Capital in key healthcare regulatory, reimbursement and HIPAA aspects of the transaction. The team was led by Washington, D.C. partner Stuart Kurlander along with Washington, D.C. counsel Nicole Liffrig Molife, and Washington, D.C. associates Margaret Rote and Danny Machado, and Bay Area associate Lydia Lim.
