Latham & Watkins Advises Inspiration Mobility in US$200M Commitment and EV Fleet Partnership

Inspiration, the first one-stop electric vehicle (EV) solutions company to both finance electric vehicles and build, own, and operate the charging infrastructure enabling the EV transition, announced its launch. To offer this comprehensive solution to fleet operators and other industry participants, Inspiration secured an initial US$200 million capital commitment from ArcLight Energy Partners Fund VII. In connection with ArcLight’s investment, Inspiration has entered into an EV fleet lease partnership with ridehail innovator Revel.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented Inspiration in these transactions, led by Houston partner Justin Stolte, with assistance from New York partners Christopher Plaut and Conray Tseng on fleet leasing matters; Washington, D.C. partner Adam Kestenbaum on employment matters; and Houston partner Jim Cole and New York partner Eli Katz on tax matters.
