Latham & Watkins Advises DataFleets in US$4.5 Million Series Seed

A Bay Area Emerging Companies team represented the Silicon Valley-based technology startup.

DataFleets has announced its US$4.5 million Seed round co-led by AME Cloud Ventures (Jerry Yang of Yahoo!) and Morado Ventures. The round also includes Lightspeed Venture Partners, Peterson Ventures, Mark Cuban, LG (the Korean tech conglomerate), Marty Chavez (President of the Board of Overseers of Harvard), Stanford-StartX fund, and some of the founders of the unicorn startups Rappi, Quora, and Lucid Software. A product-first organization, DataFleets will use the funds to expand its suite of enterprise products and add new engineering and technical talent.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented DataFleets in the transaction with an emerging companies team led by partner Jack Sheridan, with associates Michael Podolny and Andrew Huang in the Bay Area.
