Latham & Watkins Names Elizabeth Eginton as New Chief Marketing Officer

Eginton brings more than two decades of strategic marketing and business development experience.

New York … Latham & Watkins is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Hughes Eginton will join the firm as Chief Marketing Officer, effective June 2, 2014. Eginton has more than 20 years of strategic marketing, business development and leadership experience with industry-leading financial and professional services institutions. 

Most recently, Eginton served as Chief Marketing Officer of Morgan Stanley where she led the firm's global institutional and retail marketing team, with oversight for branding, strategic and digital marketing, market research and analytics, and communications. Previously, Eginton was SVP, Director of Corporate Strategy at Legg Mason Capital Management, a US equity investment manager. She was a partner at McKinsey & Company, advising financial services companies on a range of strategic issues for over a decade. Earlier in her career Eginton was also a private equity analyst at AEA Investors.

Eginton received her Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies and Government, magna cum laude, from Harvard University in 1991. She received her MBA with highest honors from Harvard Business School in 1996, where she was a George F. Baker Scholar.
