Latham & Watkins has been named a Law Firm of the Year by Law360 for the third consecutive year for “having steered complex deals and won high-profile [litigation] victories,” according to the legal news service.

The honor is based on Law360’s annual recognitions for Practice Groups of the Year, where Latham practice and industry groups were selected in six Law360 categories for 2021, including capital markets, energy, intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, tax, and white collar.

In Latham’s published profile, firm leaders highlighted the collaboration and teamwork across practice areas by Latham teams advising clients on market-pacing transactional, regulatory, and litigation matters – such as the high-profile initial public offerings of Airbnb, Warby Parker, and Oatly, and major multi-billion dollar M&A deals for clients such as AMD, Slack Technologies, Cerner, Intuit, and Athene Holdings cited by Law360.

"Working together, our global team continued to partner with clients across all sectors of the economy on their most complicated transactions," Ian D. Schuman, Global Chair of Latham's Capital Markets practice, told Law360.

Latham also won Law Firm of the Year recognitions in 2020 and 2019 for delivering client successes across key areas of practice.
