Latham Honored for Managing Diverse Talent at the UK Diversity Legal Awards 2019

Latham & Watkins has won the Managing Diverse Talent Award at the 2019 UK Diversity Legal Awards, in recognition of the firm’s Black Lawyers Group (BLG). The annual award program is a Black Solicitors Network (BSN) initiative that celebrates excellence in promoting all aspects of equality, diversity, and inclusion in the legal profession, including gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, and social mobility.

The firm received the Managing Diverse Talent Award for the BLG’s outstanding initiatives in support of the long-term success of black lawyers in the firm, the legal profession, and the wider community. The BSN praised Latham’s inclusive culture and ongoing initiatives to attract, retain, and promote diverse talent. The BLG is one of Latham’s eight global affinity groups that enhance the diversity efforts of the firm and the legal profession at large.

The BSN also shortlisted Latham in the Mental Health & Wellbeing and Access to Justice categories and recognized London associate Chidi Onyeche as a BSN Rising Star finalist.
