May 25, 2021
London emerging companies team counsels tech company using AI to fight financial crime on new investment.

Latham & Watkins advised ComplyAdvantage, a UK-based global data technology company transforming financial crime detection, on a new investment by Goldman Sachs Growth Equity. The investment is an extension to the company’s Series C funding announced in July 2020, which Latham also advised on.

Goldman Sachs joins a growing list of ComplyAdvantage’s world-class investors, including the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, Index Ventures, and Balderton Capital.

The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Shing Lo, with associates Terry Charalambous and Róisín Mbonu.
