Latham & Watkins Advises Amphenol Corporation in its US$1.7 Billion Acquisition of MTS Systems

Amphenol Corporation (NYSE: APH) (Amphenol), a leading provider of high-technology interconnect, antenna, and sensor solutions, announced a definitive agreement under which it will acquire MTS Systems Corporation (Nasdaq: MTSC) (MTS), a leading global supplier of advanced test systems, motion simulators, and precision sensors, for US$58.50 per share in cash, or approximately US$1.7 billion, including the assumption of outstanding debt and liabilities, net of cash.
