Latham & Watkins Adds Talented Corporate Lawyer in Spain

Arrival of Ana González-Linares further strengthens the firm's private equity and strategic M&A capability in Europ‎e.

Latham & Watkins LLP1 is pleased to announce that Ana González-Linares has rejoined the firm in Madrid as counsel in the Corporate Department. González-Linares advises private equity firms and companies on a variety of public and private M&A transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, and refinancings. She also counsels companies and investment banks on a range of equity capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, and advises boards on a range of corporate governance and compliance matters.

González-Linares' expertise enhances Latham's existing practice in Spain and broadens the firm's services and capabilities in Europe. She has particular expertise in the media and telecoms, life sciences, real estate, and financial services sectors. González-Linares rejoins Latham & Watkins from DLA Piper in Madrid. She recieved a BA in Law and Business from Universidad Pontificia De Comillas (UPCO-ICADE) and a LLM from The University of Chicago. She is admitted to practice in Spain and in the State of New York.
