For the fifth consecutive year, Latham & Watkins was named a “Global Elite” firm by Global Competition Review. GCR noted that “Latham & Watkins has put in another excellent performance this year” and is “highly regarded for its litigation work.” Latham also garnered recognition at the country level. In the US, GCR said: “Latham & Watkins has done nothing but impress over the past year or so” and is “[a]lways praised by its competitors.” In Brussels, Latham is described as having “a strong antitrust team”, in the UK as having “a busy competition docket, which covers the spectrum from behavioural to transactional cases”, while the French, German and Japanese practice won recognition for work on cross-border mergers and global cartel proceedings.
