December 12, 2014

Latham & Watkins partners Joseph Calabrese, Christopher Brearton, Robert Haymer and Nancy Bruington have been included in the annual “Dealmakers Impact Report” published by Variety. The feature highlights transactional lawyers and entertainment executives who have driven the most notable deals in the industry during the past year. The Latham lawyers were cited for advising on complex distribution and licensing agreements, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and a wide variety of financing transactions for major and independent studios, entertainment and media companies, and financial institutions including private equity firms, investment banks and hedge funds. The partners recently joined Latham to lead the firm’s Entertainment, Sports & Media Practice Group, as the firm opened an office in Century City, the business center of Los Angeles’ entertainment industry.
