Latham advises Tencent in its investment in DONTNOD Entertainment

Tencent invest in an independent French studio.

DONTNOD Entertainment, an independent French studio that creates and develops video games, announced that is has successfully completed the capital increase launched on January 27, 2021 for an amount of €50 million.

Tencent contributed €30 million in the context of such capital increase strengthening DONTNOD's shareholder structure.

Tencent and DONTNOD entered into a business cooperation agreement as part of the transaction.

Latham represents Tencent in this transaction with a Paris corporate team led by partners Pierre-Louis Cléro and Roberto L. Reyes Gaskin with Xiaocai Fu and Pierre-Yves Marquet. Partner Jean-Luc Juhan advises on the business cooperation agreement.
