San Francisco partner Michael Rubin joins IATI for a seminar covering US class action litigation, GDPR at one year, and California's looming CCPA.

Latham & Watkins and Israel Advanced Technology Industries present an update on the state of play for data-driven companies in the era of GDPR, CCPA, and heightened sensitivity to privacy and security concerns. San Francisco-based partner Michael Rubin, a leader of Latham’s global Data Privacy & Security Practice, will provide an insider’s view of key litigation and regulatory developments.

Mr. Rubin represents technology companies in high-stakes litigation and regulatory matters. He regularly represents clients before the Federal Trade Commission, United States Attorneys General, and regulatory authorities throughout Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Mr. Rubin has represented leading technology companies including Facebook, Google, LG Electronics, Spotify, and Symantec. In addition to this contentious work, he assists initial-stage startups to Fortune 100 companies in matters that range from business model advice and granular product counseling, to complex compliance and regulatory advice. Mr. Rubin also has hands-on experience with the Israeli market by working with numerous domestic and multinational clients.
