Latham lawyers Sophie Lamb and Ing Loong Yang will examine the effects of culture on arbitral proceedings from the Chinese and European perspectives.

Culture plays an important role in international arbitration as cases often involve parties from different countries (and consequently, different legal systems and traditions). This evening seminar will examine the effects of culture on arbitral proceedings, offering unique practitioner insights from the Chinese and European perspectives.

The panelists will discuss culture in international arbitration in both the investor-state and commercial arbitration domains.
