Emerging Companies Scholars Program

The Emerging Companies Scholars Program gives enterprising US law students a chance to be a part of an exceptional team of corporate lawyers who provide strategic legal and business counsel throughout the entrepreneurial ecosystem. You will work to help advance the development of innovative early to late-stage, high-growth companies and the venture capitalists who invest in them across transformative industries such as technology, life sciences, and digital media. In 2019, The Legal 500 recognized Latham as one of the leading venture capital and emerging companies firms nationwide, and Chambers USA 2019 ranked Latham’s startup and Emerging Companies Practice nationwide as well as for venture capital work in Massachusetts and California.

As an Emerging Companies Scholar, you’ll receive firsthand experience working for cutting-edge clients and advising on all aspects of a company’s life cycle from formation to private financings to IPOs and M&A transactions. You’ll be able to leverage a limitless network and the full-legal capabilities of Latham’s platform to help clients succeed all with industry-leading technology tools.

Emerging Companies Scholars Program applications will be accepted in our Austin, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles/Century City, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley offices. Sign up to be notified when 2024 applications open.
