Shayan Ahmad is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Litigation & Trial Practice.
Shayan represents public and private companies in a variety of litigation matters. Shayan has worked on litigation from the filing of the complaint through discovery, dispositive motions, and trial.
Shayan maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals seeking asylum and other forms of immigration relief, assisting in criminal appeals for clients seeking relief from unjust punishment, and assisting the worker’s compensation appeals of a 9/11 first responder.
Prior to joining Latham full-time, Shayan was a summer associate in the New York office. While in law school, he participated in the Harvard Housing Law Clinic as a clinical student.
Prior to law school, Shayan earned his B.S. in Business Economics from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and then worked at West Monroe Partners as a technology strategy consultant in their Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice.
