Samantha Voutyras is an associate in the Tax Department in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Executive Compensation, Employment & Benefits Practice.
Ms. Voutyras represents privately held and publicly traded companies, sponsors, and executives regarding executive compensation and employee benefits matters. Her experience includes the negotiation and drafting of executive employment and severance agreements, the design and implementation of equity-based and other incentive compensation arrangements, and advising clients on the tax, securities, and corporate law issues that may arise in connection with such arrangements. Ms. Voutyras counsels clients with respect to compensation and benefits issues in initial public offerings, corporate mergers and acquisitions, financings, and other transactions.
Ms. Voutyras advises clients on transactions within a variety of industries, including the technology, life sciences, and retail industries, among others.
Ms. Voutyras maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting organizations that represent veterans with disabilities.
