S. Elizabeth Kim is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Emerging Companies & Growth Practice.

Ms. Kim represents startups and other emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles, as well as the venture capital firms that invest in these companies.

She advises clients on a broad range of matters, including:

  • Company formation
  • Capital raising, including venture-backed and other private financings
  • Corporate governance 
  • Equity incentives 
  • Employment matters
  • Securities law compliance
  • Exit transactions (e.g., mergers and acquisitions or initial public offerings)

Ms. Kim maintains an active pro bono practice, most recently representing Afghans applying for Special Immigrant Visas and humanitarian parole.
