Paul M. Rafla

Paul Rafla is a corporate associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Paul Rafla represents public and private companies and financial institutions in a variety of domestic and cross-border equity and debt capital markets transactions across an array of industries.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Rafla worked in the New York office of an Am Law 100 firm where he represented public and private companies, initial purchasers, underwriters, agents, lenders, and financial institutions in capital markets and lending transactions.

Mr. Rafla graduated from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as a Legal Research and Writing Law Fellow and as the managing editor of The Tax Lawyer. He also worked as a law clerk for the Commercial Law Development Program of the Department of Commerce.

Before his legal career, Mr. Rafla practiced as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the assurance practice of an international accounting firm.
