Michael Brogan is corporate counsel in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Capital Markets and Public Company Representation Practices.

Mr. Brogan has significant experience with transactions in a broad cross section of industries, including asset management, financial services, interactive entertainment, and technology, with a particular focus on corporate finance transactions.

He advises clients on a variety of transactions and matters including: representing issuers and investors in securities offerings, corporate governance matters  especially regarding ESG, emerging growth company representation, and representing operating companies in deSPAC merger transactions.

Prior to returning to the firm in 2021, Mr. Brogan was the owner and managing director of Analytic Investors, LLC, responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the independent, registered investment advisor with US$18 billion of assets under management until it was sold to Wells Fargo Asset Management. He also worked for Goldman Sachs on its over-the-counter derivatives trading desk.
