    Madisson Goorman is an associate in the Century City office of Latham & Watkins.

    Ms. Goorman represents private equity and public and private strategic buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.

    Ms. Goorman received her JD from the University of California, Berkeley. While in law school, Ms. Goorman was the senior submission editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal, the co-chair for the Halloum Business Negotiation Competition, worked as a teaching assistant for various classes at the Haas School of Business, and earned a Business Law Certificate. She was a legal intern at a major global law firm, KKR & Co. Inc., and the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

    • TPG Capital in a majority investment in Confluent Medical Technologies
    • 8minute Solar Energy in an investment from EIG Capital for US$400 million
    • Marlin Equity Partners in its strategic growth investment in CE Broker, Inc. 
    • Sony Pictures Entertainment in its sale of GSN Games to Scopley for approximately US$1 billion
    • Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. in the sale of a portion of its ownership in Pye-Barker Fire
    • Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. in its acquisition of Stella Environmental Services
    • Nestlé Health Science in its acquisition of Nuun
    • Golden Gate Capital in the sale of 50% of its ownership in Angus Chemical Co. to Ardian SA for an enterprise value of approximately US$2.25 billion* 
    • The sale of Delphi Technologies PLC to BorgWarner Inc. pursuant to an all-stock transaction for an enterprise value of approximately US$3.3 billion*
    • Vista Equity Partners in its acquisition of Apptio, Inc. for approximately US$1.94 billion*
    • Apptio, Inc., a portfolio company of Vista Equity Partners, in its acquisition of Cloudability, Inc.*
    • The sale of Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group, Inc. to L Catterton for approximately US$650 million*
    • MCR in its acquisition of StayNTouch, Inc. from Shiji Group for US$46 million; the US government ordered the sale of StayNTouch, Inc. pursuant to a CFIUS-mandated sale process*
    • Other portfolio companies of Vista Equity Partners in various platform and add-on acquisitions (including Cvent, Inc., DealerSocket, Inc., Black Mountain Systems, PayLease LLC, and Lone Wolf Real Estate Technologies Inc.)*
