Lucas Adomeit is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins.

Lucas advises financial sponsors, their portfolio companies, corporate borrowers, banks, and other financial institutions on a broad range of cross-border leveraged finance transactions. 

After earning his LLM at Columbia Law School, Lucas completed a traineeship at the European Commission in Brussels and pursued his training with another international law firm in London.

Lucas’ experience includes advising: 

  • A syndicate of arrangers led by Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and Mizuho in connection with US$40 billion of bridge facilities provided to SoftBank Group Corp. to finance investments in OpenAI and for general corporate purposes
  • The lender in connection with the refinancing of term loan and revolving credit facilities for Polynt Composites USA Inc.
  • EQT in connection with the refinancing of a term loan and revolving credit facilities for Odin Bidco SAS
  • L Catterton on the financing for its investment in Dishoom, a renowned restaurant brand in the UK
  • TA Associates: 
    • On the financing for its strategic partnership with Craigs Investment Partners, a leading wealth management firm in New Zealand
    • In connection with the refinancing term loan and revolving credit facilities for Fairstone Group
  • Epiris on its sale of a minority stake in Pure Cremation to Centerbridge Partners
  • Platinum Equity and its portfolio company Urbaser on its €2.7 billion refinancing and dividend recapitalization
