Louis Quagliato is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Finance Department and Private Equity Finance Practice.

Mr. Quagliato advises clients on bank finance and general corporate finance matters, with a focus on representing private equity firms and their portfolio companies, public companies, financial institutions, and debt investors in a wide range of financing transactions, including:

  • Term and revolving credit facilities
  • Asset-based credit facilities
  • Junior lien and mezzanine financings
  • Ongoing portfolio company financings
  • Restructurings, debtor-in-possession, and exit financings

Mr. Quagliato also regularly represents borrowers with respect to debt compliance issues, debt restructurings, and other liability management issues. His transactions include numerous large and middle market domestic and international financing transactions.

Mr. Quagliato maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing a nonprofit social services organization in financing matters.

Mr. Quagliato received his JD from the Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and of the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law.

  • CentroMotion, a portfolio company of One Rock Capital Partners, in the acquisition financing for its investment in Carlisle Brake & Friction
  • GNC Holdings, Inc. in the refinancing of its credit facilities, its subsequent debtor-in-possession financing and exit sale
  • Leonard Green & Partners in the financing for its investments in Advantage Sales & Marketing, Service Logic, SRS Distribution, Veritext, and WCG
  • Odyssey Investment Partners in the financing for its investments in Alliance Holdings, Barcodes, and Service Champions
  • Paper Excellence in the financing for its investment in Domtar Corporation
  • Spectrum Equity Investors in the financing for its investments in DispatchTrack  
  • Vivo Capital in the acquisition financing for its investment in Serán Bioscience, LLC
  • An ad hoc group of lenders in its foreclosure and acquisition of a defaulting borrower
  • A distressed borrower in the refinancing of its credit facilities, interim covenant relief, and exit financing
