    Profile

    Juliette Raffaitin is an associate in the Paris office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice. She advises clients on EU and French competition and regulatory law.

    Ms. Raffaitin represents international companies before the European Commission and the French competition authority in merger control proceedings and cartel/abuse of dominance investigations, and coordinates multijurisdictional merger filings for global transactions.

    Prior to joining Latham, Mrs. Raffaitin interned in the State aid Transport service of DG COMP at the European Commission, the European Court of Justice in the Cabinet of Judge Malenovsky and in the legal department of SFR.

     

    Experience

    Ms. Raffaitin's experience includes representing:

    • Orange in the 54% acquisition of Telekom Romania Communications
    • Motion Equity Partners in the sale of 100% of the securities of Altaïr Group to Eurazeo
    • Tencent in the minority investment in Voodoo, the world leader in hyper-casual games
    • The founders and TA Associates in the context of the investment of Antin Infrastructure Partners in Babilou, a leading private network of daycare facilities and Early Years Education in Europe
    • Demant in the acquisition of Audilab
    • L'APIG (Les Echos, Le Monde, Le Figaro etc.) in a complaint against Google before the Competition Authority
    • Orange in a complaint from AOTA before the French competition authority
    • Edenred in a cartel investigation in the meal vouchers sector before the French Competition Authority and Paris Court of Appeal
