Joshua Reisman is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. Mr. Reisman is a member of the Corporate Department and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice.

Mr. Reisman advises both public and private companies, including private equity funds, strategic investors, and financial institutions in connection with:

  • Shareholder activism

  • General corporate matters

As part of his active pro bono practice, Mr. Reisman represents sole proprietors and small business owners in underserved communities and advises civic organizations and nonprofits on general legal matters.

At the New York University School of Law, Mr. Reisman served as an executive editor for the New York University Law Review.

  • Endeavor in the acquisition of multiple MLB Professional Development League Clubs, and the creation of Diamond Baseball Holdings
  • Transfix in its US$1.1 billion merger with G Squared Ascend I (terminated)
  • Aspiration in its pending US$2.3 billion merger with InterPrivate III Financial Partners
  • Offerpad in its US$3 billion merger with Supernova Partners Acquisition Company
  • Cyxtera Technologies in its US$3.4 billion merger with Starboard Value Acquisition Corp.
  • Talkspace in its US$1.4 billion merger with Hudson Executive Investment Corp.
  • Global Infrastructure Partners in the sale of Competitive Power Ventures to OPC Energy for US$630 million
  • Hyundai Motor Group in its acquisition of an 80% interest in Boston Dynamics from SoftBank in a transaction valuing Boston Dynamics at US$1.1 billion
  • Opendoor Labs in its US$4.8 billion merger with Social Capital Hedosophia Holdings II
  • GCM Grosvenor in its US$2 billion merger with CF Finance Acquisition Corp.
  • Cordelio Power, a subsidiary of CPPIB, in the acquisition of two wind development projects in Illinois having 350 MW capacity
  • Kayne Anderson in the acquisition and tax equity financing of a utility-scale solar facility in North Carolina
  • ConnectGen in the formation of a 50-50 joint venture and acquisition and tax equity financing of three utility-scale solar facilities in the Southwest US
