Joseph Piligian represents public and private companies in complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts across the country. Joe maintains a broad commercial practice with an emphasis on class action defense and corporate litigation. He has represented clients in connection with shareholder derivative actions, post-closing merger disputes, ERISA fiduciary litigation, various business-to-business claims, and federal securities litigation.
Prior to joining Latham, Joe clerked for Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster on the Delaware Court of Chancery and worked at nationally recognized law firms in Washington, D.C. and North Carolina. Joe also has worked in television production and supply chain management.
