Jack Winfield is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Banking Practice.

Mr. Winfield's experience includes advising sponsors, corporate borrowers, banks, and other financial institutions across a broad range of finance transactions, with a particular focus on leveraged and acquisition financings.

Mr. Winfield’s recent experience includes:

  • A consortium, led by Astorg and Cinven, on the financing for their acquisition of LGC, a global leader in the life sciences tools sector
  • Alcentra Capital in connection with the unitranche financing to fund the acquisition by TowerBrook of pulp and bio-energy manufacturer, Schweighofer Fiber
  • EG Group, the third largest independent convenience store operator in the world, in the committed bank financing of its acquisition of The Herbert Group, the largest KFC franchise in the UK & Ireland
  • Savannah Petroleum plc in respect of its investment in, and acquisition of, the Seven Energy group
