Evan King is an associate in the Boston office of Latham & Watkins.

Dr. King's practice focuses on patent litigation, particularly in the life sciences and biotechnology industries. He has experience representing clients in various technology areas, including:

He earned his JD at Harvard Law School, where he served as an article editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology. Dr. King also received his PhD in chemistry from Harvard University, where his thesis studies focused on electronic structures of organometallic catalysts.

Prior to law school, Dr. King was a patent agent at a Boston-based law firm, where he handled patent prosecution and due diligence for pharmaceutical and biotechnology inventions. He also spent several years working as a research scientist on the development of grid-scale energy storage technologies at a Boston-area startup and a global aerospace and technology company.
