Danni Davies is a member of Latham’s London Real Estate Practice.

Mx. Davies has extensive experience advising on operational real estate matters, with a focus on hospitality, sports, leisure, and retail assets. They represent owners and operators, private equity firms, asset managers, real estate companies, lenders, and borrowers on all aspects of commercial real estate, including real estate focused private equity and M&A transactions, joint ventures, co-investments, sale-leaseback transactions, high value landlord-tenant work, hotel and resort management, sales, acquisitions, and financing.

Prior to joining Latham, Mx. Davies worked in the real estate practice of an international law firm headquartered in London.

  • An investment firm on a co-investment in a portfolio of luxury hospitality assets located in Portugal
  • The consortium led by Todd Boehly, chairman and CEO of Eldridge, and Clearlake Capital Group, on its acquisition of Chelsea Football Club
  • Silver Lake on its investment in the Ambassador Theatre Group
  • Ashkenazy Acquisition Corporation on its acquisition, refinancing, and disposal of the Grosvenor House Hotel, London
  • Cohen Media Group on the acquisition of Curzon Cinemas, the UK’s pre-eminent specialized cinema operator
  • Syndicate of lenders on the financing of CD&R’s c.£7 billion acquisition of Morrisons Supermarkets
  • DAZN, the global sports entertainment platform, in its attempt to acquire BT Sport
  • New Look on its restructuring and CVA, including successfully defending New Look in a landmark case concerning landlord challenges to CVAs
  • Wagamama, Duke Street, Hutton Collins, and the other selling shareholders on the real estate aspects of the sale to The Restaurant Group plc of Wagamama
  • Blackstone Infrastructure Partners in its joint venture with B&J Holdings for the public takeover of Applegreen plc, an Ireland-based operator of motorway service areas and hotels 
  • KSL Capital Partners on the refinancing of a development facility relating to the redevelopment of Black Lion House Hotel, London (managed by Hyatt), now operating as the Hyatt Place London City East
  • KSL Capital Partners on the acquisition of a majority stake in Third Space, the UK luxury health and fitness brand, alongside existing sponsor Encore Capital
  • A logistics management company in the financing of its European operations, specifically based in the Netherlands and Denmark
  • A private equity firm on a c. £900 million bid for a European gym chain with a mixture of owned and leased real estate and development sites
  • A leading UK operator of  caravan holiday parks on real estate financing and property management matters 
  • A global entertainment company on the acquisition of the UK’s leading producer of pantomime shows, including storage and rehearsal warehouse space
  • Highgate Capital Investment and Aurora Health Network on the US$3.2 billion acquisition of a wellness infrastructure business, including a UK care home portfolio
