Connie Leung is an associate in the Dubai office of Latham & Watkins. Ms. Leung advises prominent local and international clients on corporate transactions across the Gulf Cooperation Council. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Leung worked for a multi-national law firm in Dubai and London.


Ms. Leung’s experience includes advising:

  • Mubadala Healthcare and China UAE Fund on the acquisition of Amana Healthcare
  • Air Products, as majority shareholder of a consortium, on the proposed acquisition from Saudi Aramco and operation by the consortium for the benefit of Aramco of US$12 billion in gasification assets located in Jazan Economic City
  • Riyadh Bank on its proposed merger with National Commercial Bank
  • J.P. Morgan on the three-way merger of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, United National Bank, and Al Hilal Bank
  • Henkel on the acquisition of a manufacturing business in Africa
  • Visa on potential acquisitions and investments in the Middle East
  • Dubai Holding on the acquisition of a significant minority stake in Azadea
  • Amanat Holdings on its acquisition of a 100% stake in Middlesex University Dubai*
  • Takaful Emarat on its proposed acquisition of a 100% stake in Al Hilal Takaful from Al Hilal Bank*
  • A MENA-based education-sector incubator on its template investment and consultancy agreement*
  • BMA International on the auction sale to Majid Al Futtaim of its 100% stake in Retail Arabia, the franchise owner of 26 GEANT hypermarket and supermarket stores in the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait*
  • A UAE-based environmental management company on its proposed development of a track-and-trace application on a third party cloud platform*
  • A global telecommunications provider on UAE telecommunication regulatory issues*
