Catherine Shaw is an associate in the Corporate Department of Latham & Watkins’ Los Angeles office.

Ms. Shaw received her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. While in law school, she served as an articles editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. Ms. Shaw also received her MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Ms. Shaw holds a bachelor’s degree in History of Art from Yale University.

Ms. Shaw advises clients on capital markets, securities, and corporate matters, representing both financial institutions and issuers in a wide variety of public and private financing transactions, including initial public offerings; follow-on and public equity offerings; investment grade, high-yield, and convertible debt offerings; debt exchange offers; tender offers; and acquisition financing.

Ms. Shaw also represents companies with respect to general corporate and securities matters, including corporate governance issues, Exchange Act reporting obligations, and stock exchange rules and requirements.
