Dr. Ann-Sophie Rosenhagen is an associate in Latham & Watkins' Frankfurt and Hamburg offices and advises German and international investors, banks, and companies on domestic and cross-border financing and restructuring matters.

She studied law at the University of Osnabrück focusing on corporate and commercial law. Before joining the firm, Ms. Rosenhagen worked as a research assistant at the institute for corporate and commercial law at the University of Osnabrück and obtained her doctorate with a thesis relating to stock company law. 

During her legal clerkship, Ms. Rosenhagen completed parts of her practical legal training at a business law firm specialized on corporate law and at the Ministry of Justice Schleswig-Holstein.

Ms. Rosenhagen’s experience includes advising:

  • Senior lenders and steering committee on the refinancing of Tom Tailor group
  • Senior lenders and steering committee in the financial and operative restructuring of KATHREIN group

Financings

  • BNP Paribas on the acquisition refinancing of Main Airport Center (MAC)
  • Deutsche Pfandbriefbank on several portfolio financings in Europe, development financings, as well as syndications in the US market
  • Hamburg Commercial Bank (formerly HSH Nordbank) on the financing of various shopping centers and office buildings
