Ana González-Linares is a counsel in the Corporate Department of Latham & Watkins' Madrid office. She provides corporate advice to national and international clients in a wide range of industries, with particular emphasis on M&A, strategic alliances, restructuring, special situations, and corporate governance matters.
Ms. González-Linares regularly advises private equity funds on their investments and transactions both in the Spanish market, as well as in Latin America. She also serves as secretary of the board for many Spanish portfolio companies of major private equity firms, where she advises on corporate governance and contractual matters.
Ms. González-Linares also advises private equity funds on distressed M&A transactions, restructurings, and pre-insolvency situations.
Ms González-Linares has been recognised in the Corporate and M&A Law category by Best Lawyers in Spain 2020 and as finalist by Iberian Lawyer's Forty under 40 awards in 2020. She has also been named by PFM as one of the most influential women lawyers under 40 in the private equity sector in 2017.
