David Uriel Socol de la Osa is an associate in the Austin office of Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Socol de la Osa represents public and private companies in their national and international mergers and acquisitions, leveraged and project financings, and capital markets transactions.

He advises clients on a variety of industries including a broad range of technologies, energy and renewable transition, venture capital and emerging companies, and environmental social and governance spaces.

While attending law school at the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Socol de la Osa was an international editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law, and he received Certificates in Management, Business Law, and Business Economics and Public Policy from the Wharton School. He also served on several boards including International Human Rights Advocates and as Chair for the International Student Advisory Board.

Prior to law school, Mr. Socol de la Osa was a student-athlete at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where he earned his Dual Degree in Law and Political Science.

Mr. Socol del a Osa serves on the Firm’s Pro Bono Committee.
