Katie Garcia is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
Ms. Garcia maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals seeking special immigrant visa status and survivors of domestic violence.
Prior to joining the firm full-time, Ms. Garcia was a summer associate in the New York office.
Ms. Garcia earned her JD from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, where she served as a Legal Writing Fellow for LL.M. students, a member of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice, a teaching assistant for first year students taking Torts, and as a founding board member of the Gould Womxm of Color Collective. Ms. Garcia also served as a student-attorney in the USC International Human Rights Clinic.
Prior to law school, Ms. Garcia earned her BA from Columbia University.
