Washington, D.C. Associate Recognized as Business of Pride Honoree

Zoë Hutchinson honored by the Washington Business Journal for her leadership in advancing LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion.

Zoë Hutchinson, an associate in Latham’s Washington, D.C. office, has been recognized by the Washington Business Journal (WBJ) as a 2022 Business of Pride honoree. The award highlights a select group of business and nonprofit leaders in Washington, D.C. who are “advancing LGBTQ+ leadership and equality.” 

Hutchinson has served as co-leader of Latham’s Global LGBTQ+ Lawyers Group, and has used her legal skills to support others in the LGBTQ+ community. She has worked with Whitman-Walker Health’s Name and Gender Change legal team, and has taken on individual legal cases through the Name and Gender Change Clinics to help transgender individuals through that process, and other related claims.

Hutchinson’s work within Latham and in Washington, D.C. community all underscore her commitment to supporting others. As Hutchinson told the WBJ: “Nothing can substitute for community. Being able to grow that community … that’s the goal.”
