The Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) has named Los Angeles partner, Marvin Putnam, as a 2021 Leaders of Influence: Litigation and Trial Lawyers in Los Angeles. The award honors “some of the very best litigators in the business.” And those lawyers “you want in your corner in court.”

Putnam has been highlighted for leading the national litigation team in Latham’s Entertainment, Sports & Media industry group and continues to be recognized as a go-to for studios and networks that need to conduct an internal investigation. He offers clients an exceptional combination of litigation experience with keen insight on the entertainment and media industry. With numerous successes at trial and appellate courts, he represents clients ranging from leading entertainment companies and investors, to individual producers and talent, in high-profile matters with true market impact.

The LABJ honored Putnam for his work in one of the biggest entertainment disputes including his representation of The Hollywood Foreign Press in a sweeping victory for the organization and four of its members against a lawsuit from two reporters arising out of their inability to earn membership.
