Global Vice Chair of Latham’s Complex Commercial Litigation Practice, Elizabeth Deeley has been selected to the 2020 Silicon Valley Business Journal Women of Influence list. This honor roll annually recognizes women leaders who significantly impact their industries as well as their communities.

Deeley was chosen for her stellar career successfully representing the Bay Area’s most innovative companies — including Facebook, Twitter, Lyft, Zynga, and Nevro Corp. — as well as a host of other multinationals across varied industries. This past year alone, she litigated billion-dollar cases on both sides of the V.

In her profile Deeley attributes finding her ideal career path to her time at the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the US. In addition to her role helping to guide the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation Practice, Deeley serves on the firm’s Women Enriching Business (WEB) committee.

Deeley was also recently named to BTI Consulting’s 2019 Client Service All-Stars list and given a shout-out by The American Lawyer for her successful defense of medical device maker Nevro Corp. against a securities class action.
