Why Latham

Dedicated to Serving Industry Leaders

Latham advises some of the world’s largest hotel and casino operations by assisting them in growth from local to global entities. In recent years, the firm has represented many of the world’s largest hospitality and gaming companies in market-setting mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs.

To provide results-oriented representation for clients in the hospitality and leisure sectors, this team coordinates with other sector teams and disciplines to craft legal solutions to business and operation objectives.

As markets expand in the gaming sector, Latham's lawyers are advising companies and their financial advisors and providers with respect to properties and operations in the United States, Asia, Canada, Europe and the Middle East. These projects include online gaming transactions, traditional gaming properties and resorts, racetracks and casinos, and Native American gaming opportunities.

Not only has Latham worked with properties in every US gaming jurisdiction from California to New York, they have also participated in significant international transactions, such as the first Macau-exclusive offering of gaming assets in the United States.
