Stephanie Adams primarily advises on UK and global merger control, foreign investment screening, antitrust, and subsidy control. 

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Adams worked at a leading international law firm, based in its Brussels office. 



Ms. Adams’ experience includes advising:

  • Viasat, Inc. on merger control and foreign investment aspects of its US$7.3 billion combination with Inmarsat
  • Carlyle Group on merger control and foreign investment aspects of its €2 billion acquisition of Flender from Siemens 
  • Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. on merger control and foreign investment aspects of its US$35 billion acquisition of Xilinx
  • Virgin Orbit on UK regulatory aspects of its de-SPAC merger with NextGen Acquisition Corp
  • Supernova Partners Acquisition Company II, Ltd. on foreign investment aspects of its de-SPAC merger with Rigetti
  • The senior secured creditors’ committee on merger control and foreign investment aspects of Swissport’s transport of ownership to a consortium of new owners
