Matthew Salerno is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Litigation & Trial Department. Mr. Salerno specializes in government investigations as well as trial litigation with a focus on securities law and white collar defense in state and federal court. Mr. Salerno has represented clients in both class and individual actions, including the successful defense of Mark Cuban at trial against insider trading allegations brought by the SEC.

Mr. Salerno received his BS from Cornell University in 2006 and his JD, cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law in 2011. While at Northwestern, Mr. Salerno interned for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois, and was an Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Social Policy.
