Anthony Klein is the Global Co-Chair of Latham & Watkins’ Connectivity Industry Group, a member and former Global Co-Chair of the Data & Technology Transactions Practice, and a member of the Emerging Companies Practice.  

Mr. Klein’s practice focuses on strategic counseling and negotiating technology-related transactions worldwide for a wide range of emerging growth and established technology and service companies and their customers, particularly in the fields of:

Mr. Klein’s experience includes:

  • Advised Avago Technologies Limited in its acquisition of LSI Corporation, a cloud-based software developer and computer semiconductor manufacturer
  • Advised Spansion in its acquisition of the Microcontroller and Analog business of Fujitsu Semiconductor, a designer and manufacturer of semiconductors
  • Advising Lucasfilm regarding intellectual property matters in its acquisition by The Walt Disney Company   
  • Representing AMD in the commercial and intellectual property aspects of the establishment of GLOBALFOUNDRIES     
  • Advising the Government of Abu Dhabi regarding the revision of its intellectual property laws to benefit the establishment of the semiconductor industry in Abu Dhabi
