Melissa Alwang is a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Finance Department and the Banking Practice. Ms. Alwang has decade-long experience representing clients in market leading transactions across a broad array of industries, such as industrials, technology, healthcare, and consumer.

Her practice focuses primarily on the representation of major financial institutions in leveraged finance transactions, including international financings, acquisition financings, debtor-in-possession and exit financings, margin loan financings, and asset-based facilities.

Ms. Alwang handles a variety of transactions for institutions such as J.P. Morgan, Barclays, Credit Suisse, Citibank, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, and Deutsche Bank.
