  • Brintons, a UK carpet and manufacturing and distribution company owned by Carlyle Strategic Partners, a special situations private equity sponsor, on its acquisition of Agnella, a Polish carpet and manufacturing and distribution company
  • Ares Management LLC, an alternative asset manager, in relation to the establishment of its €3 billion lending ELP joint venture with GE Capital targeting European larger leverage buy-outs
  • Carlyle Strategic Partners III, a special situations private equity sponsor, on the acquisition of Klenk Holz, a German manufacturer of wood products
  • Aviva plc, a FTSE-100 listed insurance company, on the €33 million sale of Eurovita Assicurazioni S.p.A, the Italian life insurer, to J.C Flowers
  • Aviva plc on the €35 million sale of Aviva Russian to Blagosostoyanie, a non-state pension fund in Russia
  • Patrick McKillen, the largest single shareholder of the Maybourne Hotel Group and the owner of Claridges, Connaught, and The Berkeley Hotels, on shareholder equity and other transactions in relation to a Hotel refinancing by way of £145 million rights issue and £547 million debt refinancing
  • Ares Management LLC, an alternative asset manager, in relation to the establishment of its €1.8 billion unitranche lending ESSLP joint venture with GE Capital targeting European mid-market leverage buy-outs
