Bill Voge retired from the partnership in March 2018. He was the Global Chair and Managing Partner of Latham & Watkins from 2015 - 2018.
Mr. Voge joined the firm in 1983 and advised clients on energy projects around the world. He acted for project sponsors, banks, underwriters, and other parties on a wide variety of electricity and oil and gas projects.
Prior to becoming Chair on January 1, 2015, Mr. Voge served eight years on the firm’s Executive Committee (1998-2002 and 2008-2012). He also served as Global Chair of the Finance Department from 2007-2008 and Global Co-Chair of the Project Finance Practice from 2004-2007. Mr. Voge led a number of firm initiatives focused on global expansion and practice integration for markets outside the United States. He had been resident in the firm’s London, New York, and San Diego offices.
