Vik Puri is a member of the firm's Finance Department with a focus on banking and other financing transactions.

Mr. Puri has significant experience in representing lenders and borrowers in both domestic and international transactions involving secured and unsecured financing transactions, including working capital financing, asset-based financing, acquisition financing, and debtor-in-possession financing.
In addition, Mr. Puri has substantial experience representing lenders in restructurings and work-outs of troubled loan facilities.

Specifically, Mr. Puri has substantial experience on asset-based financing transactions representing lenders, arrangers, agents, borrowers (both public and private), and private equity funds on transactions ranging from large-cap syndicated transactions to middle market and specialized ABL loans including acquisition financings, refinancings, working capital, FILO structures, and debtor-in-possession financings.

Representative transactions have involved a range of working capital and fixed asset borrowing formulas and include both domestic and international jurisdictions.

Representative clients include JPMorgan Chase Bank, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Key Bank National Association, UBS, Bank of Montreal, Jefferies Finance, Ulta Cosmetics & Salon, and Bebe, Inc.

  • BMO Capital Markets, as administrative agent, for domestic and international ABL financing in connection with acquisition of Marcone, the leading residential appliance parts distributor and portfolio company of Genstar Capital
  • A syndicate of lenders in ABL financing for Terlato Wine Group, Ltd., producers and distributors of wine through ownerships of vineyards and wineries
  • Ulta Cosmetics in its ABL Facility with Wells Fargo, as administrative agent 
  • Keybank, as administrative agent, in ABL facilities for the acquisition of a contract development and manufacturing organization focused on specialty active pharmaceutical ingredients
  • JPMorgan Asset Based Lending, as administrative agent, in its ABL facility for CDW, LLC, a distributor of technology products and services
  • Bank of America, as administrative agent, in domestic and international ABL facilities for a supplier of medical X-ray tubes and image processing solutions
  • Bebe Stores in its ABL facility for expansion and refinancing purposes
  • Goldman Sachs, administrative agent, for ABL facilities for subsidiaries of US Steel
