Dr. Christian Edye retired from the partnership in December 2018. He was a corporate partner in the Hamburg office, with a wide-ranging practice focused on:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Joint ventures
- Private equity and venture capital transactions
Furthermore, he concentrated on corporate transactions in the cleantech industry, including in the renewable energy sector, as well as the pharmaceutical industry.
He was also the lead counsel in many corporate restructurings and transactions involving foreign investments. Mr. Edye regularly acted for many large and medium-sized German and foreign clients both in domestic and cross-border matters.
JUVE and The Legal 500 EMEA listed Mr. Edye as a “recommended” lawyer for Private Equity Transactions for numerous years. He was also frequently listed in the Handelsblatt “Best Lawyers List” for Mergers and Acquisitions.
